While at the Trust for Public Land, we converted over 25 asphalt lots into sustainable green infrastructure parks, with each park absorbing up to 1,000,000 gallons of stormwater every year. All of our sites underwent extensive participatory design, allowing the community to design their park to fit the needs of the neighborhood. Over the course of two years, we managed a budget of over $25 million across all five boroughs.
Below you will find a few of my favorite projects.
